Birge-Beard House
Neo-Classical home with Steamboat Gothic trim built in 1860 by Noble Birge, prominent merchant and civic leader who championed Big Cypress navigation and canal clearing. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP #70000754) and an RTHL.

- Capt. William E. Singleton House (Abernathy-Singleton House)Virginia Cross style home built by Abernathy and held by the Singleton family from 1885 to 1976. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP #70000757) and an RTHL.
- Secession HallBuilt in 1856. Purchased by Judge W.S. Todd in 1858 — an avid Civil War secessionist who named his son 'William Secession Todd.' A tangible piece of Jefferson's Confederate history.
- Alley-McKay HouseBuilt in 1851 by Daniel Alley — the founder of Jefferson. His residence until his death in 1868. A foundational piece of the town's origin story.
- Oakwood CemeteryHistoric burial ground with elaborate 19th-century architectural monuments — a quiet, surprisingly beautiful stop for history and photography enthusiasts.
