Jefferson Historical Museum (Old U.S. Post Office and Courts Building)
Housed in the original 1888 Federal Courthouse and Post Office. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP #69000210) and a Recorded Texas Historic Landmark. Features Civil War relics, Caddo Indian artifacts, pioneer tools, and an extraordinary HO-scale Texas & Pacific Railway model. A magnolia tree on the grounds was planted from a seedling from the White House lawn tree, brought by Lady Bird Johnson.

- Sterne FountainCast of pure bronze by J.L. Mott Foundry of New York (1912). Features a statue of Hebe, Greek goddess of youth, serving water to animals and people. Given by the children of Jacob and Ernestine Sterne. Now under the care of the Jefferson Historical Foundation.

- Sedberry HouseRaised mansion built in 1869 at the height of the steamboat era. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP #70000756) and a Recorded Texas Historic Landmark. Features winding cast-iron staircases, stained glass windows, and elaborate ceiling rosettes made for gas chandeliers — a stunning example of Jefferson's antebellum prosperity.
- Jefferson Playhouse (Sinai Hebrew / Beth-El Synagogue)Built in 1875 as the Sinai Hebrew Congregation of Beth-El synagogue — documenting Jefferson's vibrant Jewish merchant community. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP #69000374) and a Recorded Texas Historic Landmark. Later converted to a community playhouse.
- Steamboat Turning BasinThe site where steamboats once docked, loaded cargo, and turned to return downstream to Caddo Lake, Shreveport, and beyond. Jefferson was once the largest inland port city in Texas. Currently pending restoration.
- Planters Bank BuildingBuilt in 1867 with fan-light arched entrances, an original cast-iron balcony, and an interior bank vault. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP #71000952) and a Recorded Texas Historic Landmark. A premier example of riverport commercial architecture from Jefferson's golden era.
