Jefferson Ordnance Magazine
Civil War Confederate munitions magazine constructed in 1863 along Big Cypress Bayou. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP #95000102) and a Recorded Texas Historic Landmark. Exceptionally rare: one of only three surviving Confederate powder magazines in Texas and the South.

- The MagnoliasGreek Revival home built in 1867 by Jefferson co-founder Daniel Nelson Alley as a dowry gift for his daughter, Victoria Kate Alley. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP #71000951) and marked with a Texas Historic Survey medallion. Frequently featured on the annual Historic Jefferson Pilgrimage home tour.
- Presbyterian Manse (The Manse)Built in 1851 by John Speakes, this is one of the oldest surviving and architecturally pure Greek Revival homes in Jefferson, featuring a Doric portico and dual porches. Acquired by the Cumberland Presbyterian Church in 1903 as its parsonage and later by the Jessie Allen Wise Garden Club. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP #69000211) and an RTHL.
- Stilley-Young House (The Grove)Built in 1861 in the Greek Revival style by brothers Daniel and Thomas Stilley. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP #05001105) and holds the prestigious State Antiquities Landmark (SAL) designation — one of only two SAL sites in Marion County. Known widely in folklore as 'The Grove' and featured on national television as one of the most storied historic properties in Texas.
- Alley-Carlson HouseBuilt in 1861 and retained in the founding Alley family for 130 years until 1991. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP #69000206) and a Recorded Texas Historic Landmark, noted for its authentic preserved interior wooden features and original period furnishings.
- Birge-Beard HouseNeo-Classical home with Steamboat Gothic trim built in 1860 by Noble Birge, prominent merchant and civic leader who championed Big Cypress navigation and canal clearing. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP #70000754) and an RTHL.
- Captain William Perry HousePrivate Greek Revival residence of Captain William Perry, the steamboat captain who navigated the first riverboat to Jefferson in 1844 and built the Excelsior House. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP #70000755) and an RTHL.
